"This started off as a simple journal entry in the wrong spot, but has evolved into a testimonial declaring Crispy my favorite Eagles' fan I'm not related to "
Despite his fanatical liking of sports, he's a cool guy, let me tell you. I'm not sure if he knows how to be sad, at least for too long and I certainly admire that. Perhaps he's just trying to project positive energy so his teams don't lose.
"I feel it is time to leave a testimonial for Senor crispy.
What first drew me to his journal was his unabashed love of his sports teams. Personally I think you can tell a great deal about a person by how they root for their favorite athletic teams.
Crispy is neither grating nor hateful in his fandom of his Philadelphia teams. He does not wear his love of his teams like a burden as many other people do (I'm thinking of you Cub and BoSox fans). He does not put down people for liking their teams (though he may with Cowboys fans but he certainly is not like most Yankee fans I have met.)
If this was not enough, he is also very literate and has a certain compassion about him that transcends mere sports.
His wit and most of all his attitude towards things can make a person re-evaluate themselves... plus I owe him five dollars so I have to say nice things about him or he will break my knee caps."
"An awesome guy, even if I don't understand the baseball thing. Whatever. crispy's just a soothing personality, I don't think i've ever witnessed him being the slightest bit negative. it's amazing.
