On the bad side; the death of comedienne Linda Smith is a tragic loss to the comedy scene. Linda Smith was one of my favorite comediennes and regularly had me in stitches. If you have never heard of her she was one of the best characters on, whisper it so no one can hear, BBC Radio 4. I will miss her east London, tones in my ear on Fridays at six thirty.
On the good side, my hair is growing back, and I am off to Turkey, which is nice. Never been, should be good, interesting at the least.
My weekend home in Glasgow was rocking; I went to see the mighty David Holmes at the Art School. It rocked. Although sometimes I wish he still played ear bleeding techno instead the funky soul stuff he plays now, oh well, still top class!
I also went to Nice and Sleazy one of the best pubs in the work. Or so I used to think. What is it with places getting done up? It was so good when it was a dump, but now they have put some paint on the walls, and I think washed the floor! Man its not the same!
