Apparently "Leaf Peeping" is a thing.
There is a wheel tax for cook county. It may just be for unincorporated parts (or is it incorporated?) Whichever it is, I'm living in one of those parts. All you need is a city sticker which makes me think, why call it a wheel tax? Wheel tax makes me angry. If my car was on blocks could I still get a ticket for not paying my wheel tax? Still, the civil servants were very helpful in explaining where one could pay one's wheel tax and how doing so would get rid of the accrued wheel tax tickets.
I have a new phone. Same phone number but instead of a 7+ year old Nokia 3595 which still had a Cingular logo I now have a very pink Samsung Blackjack II with windows mobile and micro SD compatibility. Samsung stores their SIM contacts individually. Just a name and a phone number. The nokia had a name which I could attach notes, email addresses and at least 2 different numbers so I've been reorganizing. I can create a contact as outlook contacts which will have all that info and more but I dont want them to sync up with my work outlook. So it'll be a bit of experimenting.
There was a weird video on Attack of the Show the other day. My roommate and I were watching and at the end we we both confused. Without missing a beat I said, "I think we're going to die in seven days."
The title? Random quote by fictional President Jed Barlett from the West Wing episode "And It's Surely to Their Credit." My favorite WW episode. Mostly cuz of Emily Procter's portrayal of Ainsley Hayes.
