9.14.12. Bacon is one of those things that brings me pure pleasure. So I eat it a lot. Right now I've got some eggs and an avocado as well. My body is kind of sore from the workouts so It's nice to sleep in and eat a ton of food. When I can.
You can workout til the cows come home but you need proper sleep for your body to heal. I really think sleep is the missing ingredient in a lot of peoples lives when they can't seem to get things together. I thought that I could run off of 5 hours of sleep for a long time. And I did, sort of. I was foggy a lot, I never recovered properly. There was a good while where I had to basically drink half of a pot of coffee just to get a dial tone in the morning... So, yeah, I prioritize sleep now.
The last week has been so intense. Getting the ball rolling with some interviews again is great. I've also been spending a bit of time emailing the last surviving original member of Thin White Line and trying to wrap my head around how much of their music is/isn't available.
We're throwing around the idea of a discography/unreleased material/documentary kind of thing. Pretty intense! Dale is a really cool guy and really into music. He remembered my roommates band from 20 years ago and remembered the weird time signature that his favorite song of theirs was in. I love people that have their head in a space like that. Trying to find people in the Pittsburgh area who knew the music isn't hard. It seems like everyone is willing to talk about Bobby Porter too. Amazing. What an incredible dude... I am lucky to have been given a direction to focus my energy.

Sleep is very important. Sometimes to come around when you work and are a full-time student. working on it, because you are right, 5 hours is not enough.
