Sunday 13.2.11 - Team Championships


1) Practice lap - oh sh1t, let 5-10 psi out of my back tyre to get at least a little grip
2) thick mud, thin mud, deep mud. You want mud? We got it!
2) Grid, I lined up at the back, that is my place... you sort yourselves out then i'll over take you
3) first lap - hell!!!
4) muddy incline - yay grip.
5) dismount - over take you suckers still trying to ride
5a) Noticed a horrible clattering noise whilst runing with the bike shouldered - presumed mud in the derailleur
6) dismount - over take you suckers trying to ride the bombholes

58th of 100. Only got lapped once and did plenty of lapping of my own. My best result of the series... if only i'd ridden more or lost weight earlier.
Despite my awesome effort and 58th place our team finished DFL!
