Thank you all for the birthday wishes and also for the luscious (and somewhat less-than luscious) breastesses. It was lookin' for the first page or so that my request would go unheeded, but all, as it turned out, was well.
My birthday turned out excellently once I got off of work, with a seafood dinner from the Atlanta Fish Market (shout outs to those ATLiens that work there) with my family and the Cafe Istanbul hookah bar with my friends. They got me the Mirrormask book. I was muchly pleased.
Less good was my first day of being twenty. I discovered that I'd left my credit card at the Istanbul, and had no cash. This was an issue as I had to pay for parking. So I went up to my office, and after a bit returned, $1.50 in hand, to discover that my car had already been booted. Moops. $50 (which my dad had to drive downtown and lend me), a half hour, and a lot of sweating in an unmoving car in Atlanta in the summer later, I was on my way. The guy who came to unboot me actually turned out to be really nice, and offered me free parking for the rest of the week when I explained my situation. So, insofar as one could have a pleasant experience getting booted, I did. But I'm still out 50 bucks that I couldn't really afford to spend.
At least the week is over. Tonight: Sky High. This weekend, I've got 2 tickets to both parts of Angels in America on Saturday and Sunday nights. I'm not sure who I'm going with yet; it's hard to find someone with both those evenings free on short notice.
