I got off Sunday and Monday so the wife and I can celebrate our anniversary together and child free. Now we have to decide what we want to do. If we go some where we could leave saturday evening since I open that day. If we stay in town, where to eat and what to do afterward. She has a couple ideas that would be fine with me but we have no plan yet.
The work trip to Chicago is set and I think we are going to a place called Quay. It looks to be a place that does the kind of thing we are doing and I think the point is going to a place like that to see what they are doing and how. It should be interesting.quaychicago. Work has been nuts, slow but with a lot of stupid things popping up. Yesterday the exec was off and everyone got a lot of shit done. It was nice.
The girls are excited to go to Kansas. My mom is still in Hawaii. She keeps texting me kick ass pics form all over. Still no shot of Dog the Bounty Hunter but I suppose that is a good thing.
And Rest In Peace Doc Watson. A great musician and national treasure.
I used to butcher this in high school. Sad to see him go he really was a piece of living history and one of the things that is best about our country and its music and traditions.

Have FUN in Chicago, man...you definitely deserve it. Congrats, too, on your years of wedded bliss with wifey; I cannot imagine you with anyone else, and that is really cool. Y'all have been my example of how cool it can be for a while now...even given the trials and tribulations. You and her are doing it RIGHT, for sure.
