Well tomorrow I go to cook for the Quakers for a week. It will be nice to be off work even if, as everyone keeps telling me, I AM just going to work in a different place. It will be a bunch of fifteen hour days but it is a totally different deal. It will be good to spend a chunk of time with the wife. We work well together and we don't get to see each other much in the day time. It will be good to see her before the day has taken the bounce from her step and the smile from her eyes. I have a bunch of shopping to do still but I am waiting til two when the wife can go with me because she remembers all the things I didn't write down and I would just rather shop once.

The girls are super excited. Ms Sun conned my mom into letting her bring a friend. The Ziz conned my mom into letting her stay with her in a tent. I am not sure Ms. Sun's friend will make it five days as this is her first trip away from her family and will also be her first time camping. The Ziz has always stayed with us and it will also be her first time camping so I am not sure what to expect from her. My mom is a saint. And the best part is that all those things add up to the wife and I not having to wrangle any kids at night or in the morning. Not only is that amazing just at face value it also means I don't have to cook breakfast by myself and we can roll one car instead of two because we will come and go at the same time. Before, the wife and the girls slept in because five in the morning is unconscionably early to wake kids up. The wife seems excited now but I bet that fades when 5 am rolls around.

So I will be scarce for the rest of the week. I'm sure I will pop in on the phone for a fix here or there but if I miss your birthday don't hate me, I'll be busy. Have fun SG. Check out MR, there is a whole lot of sexy in there right now.
