I just got back from Ms. Sun's school awards ceremony. She got five awards and left the gym looking like Mrs. T. I even got a hug at the end so I must still not be terribly embarrassing. I know its coming. She really wanted to win the art award because it is the only one she hasn't won. I didn't have the heart to tell her it isn't likely to happen. Her artistic abilities do not lie in pen and ink or paint or sculpture. She draws like me, which is bad. She can play every song she ever learned on three instruments but she can't do art. She did win the music award though which made her very happy. All my pictures turned out shitty or I would post one.
