I'm going through one of those phases of pining for things that I do not have. I have a crush on a coffee shop girl that I've never spoken to. I am wishing that I was still in contact with old flames from my past. Sigh.

I'll ogle this girl in the coffee shop for a while, but I doubt that I'll ever really talk to her. The last female co-worker that I tried to make friends with ended poorly, with me feeling like a stalker. Sigh. The thing I miss the most about having a social life is that I never meet new people. Nearly all of the people I know have been in my life for over fifteen years. They're great, but I'd love to meet someone that whose life story I don't already know. I wouldn't mind having a cute girl or two to flirt with.

That of course, is the real issue. I miss flirting.
