Hello All,
Well this has been a long time coming....
Anyway, I have finished working with the ODNR. It was a great experience! Fish guts and microscopes doesn't sound that interesting to most people...but it was a welcome change for me. DNA lab work can be really boring.....
Have done a few gigs as Jack Sparrow and am fully enjoying that. Can't believe it really. I never considered myself any kind of actor, but apparently I can do at least one thing well in that regard. Won some costume and look-alike contests as well.
Starting back to school and teaching in January but I am going to visit my sister in Portland for a few days this month! Can't wait for that. This time I am bringing some friends and we are heading to Mt. Hood for some boarding!
Trying to do more photography...have had a few sessions with friends and am planning more...
Well, I'm getting long winded sooo....

Well, busy month...
Phoenix/San Diego trip was great. Lots of pics of the flora and fauna. Got to hit the beach a bit. Nice to see my family too. The weather was nice, but it is now getting to be just as warm here too finally! Took long enough. I've said it before...stupid Ohio weather.
Went to Star Wars Celebration III, also an enjoyable trip. Lots of lines to wait in but it was all worth it. For a SW geek such as myself, how can you go wrong hanging out with 30,000 other like-minded weirdos? It was a big ol' escape-reality-and-live-in-another-world sort of weekend. And there was much rejoicing....yeh.
Classes finally ended this week too, so now I am free to catch up on my research for a month before I start a new job. Wheee!!!!! I love this whole grad school thing! It will pay off later, it will pay off later...sometimes I mutter that in my sleep....it will pay off later....
Anyway, hope all are well.

Anyway, was feeling good today so I thought I'd write.
Got to go snowboarding in NY over the weekend. Which was a great time. Ohio snow sucks!
Leaving for Phoenix this weekend. Can't wait to get out of here for a bit and enjoy some warmer temps. Should be fun, going hiking in Sedona and then taking a side trip to San Diego for a few days. A little sun, a lot of rest, and some whale watching...I'm all set.

It's snowing again...bad for driving but fun for snowboarding!! Gonna hit the slopes later, can't wait. Evenings at Brandywine! I know our ski hills are pathetic but hey, it's all we Ohioans have.
Bought a new board the other day but it isn't here yet, (stupid UPS).
