Ok...took me about 20 minutes to find the button to add a post. I am still baffled at the fact I have a hard time using any types of social media. I am going to try and start posting more on here. I tried before but just like most things I pick it up only to put it down and pile more on top. So as I am not accustomed to just opening up and not one to bear all online to random people, with that I will say to all those on SG I give a lot of props for being able to do that.
I will start with a funny and not intentional....mishap. I was asked to be in my friends wedding. So I did as any groomsman does. I went to Men's Warehouse and had my self fitted for the tux. The day before the wedding I went and picked it up. They had me try it on to make sure everything fit, and once they were done making sure everything fit and looked as it should I was told to just change back into my cloths and they would fold and put everything back in the bag.
Next day I arrive at the venue, talking with the other guys in the wedding party. I was getting everything out of the bag, only issue. I couldn't find the pants. I start to panic because I know there is no time to drive back to the store and return to the venue. I hear the groom park his truck. I went and told him that I couldn't be in the wedding and what has occurred. I was calling the store and they found the pants that should have been in the bag. Where did they find them, in the back with a tag with my name on it. Did any one call when an employee was looked thru the changing rooms and found them. The manager was not happy and offered to drive them to me. I had already called a friend who was going to the wedding and he would speed to get them there. So at east I know where the pants are and that they would be there in about an hour or so.
They wanted to do wedding photos before the wedding. All the groomsmen walked over to meet with the bridesmaids, they all started laughing the moment they say me. The bride who is the one in the photo below, though I was playing some practical ex-roommate joke, even one of the other bridesmaid who also happened be a ex-roommate thought it was some weird guy joke. I should have mentioned that her husband and I were friends, coworkers and roommates. They do all the family photos and I keep getting gawked at. Most of my buddies family have come over joking with me and I tell them the issue and it was being resolved. I actually like the way it looked.
After taking numerous photos both with me showing off my short and others with me standing behind people so they couldn't see I didn't have the tuxedo pants. The wedding director informed us they would like to get started. We informed them I had no pants and they will be on site soon. After all this we only had to delay the wedding 15 minutes. The wedding went great, everyone had a laugh and all the groomsmen wished their tux came with shorts not pants.
Now tell me that tux doesn't match with the short.
