Teaching is an odd profession to jump into. This summer, I moved half-way across the country in search of my own classroom. I did end up finding a place to work, and rented a room at a horse ranch while I sought a more permanent place to live.
Photobombed by black beauty?
It was a nice day for day-drinking and looking at large critters.
Green grass isn't common in these parts.
This lantern overlooks a nice shady spot in the yard.
It's fairly brutal outside of the tree's shade. This is technically desert terrain, hydrated only by the mighty Snake River and mighty irrigation.
I'm lucky my macbook didn't fall into a pile of poo.
The black and white one tried to be in every picture I took. What a camera whore- *ahem* horse.
I have my own place now, though! More pictures of my retro, 1960's house to follow?
