So I've given up trying to understand politics. At first, I thought it was more of a chance to help your city/state/country when you served in office. Sure, it's a job, and you would hate to lose it. It just seems that many would rather pose and posture without making any kind of decisions.

I wouldn't say I'm an Obama fan. I voted for him because I thought he had some different ideas (I thought McCain was too close to Bush, and Romney seemed too elitist). I didn't think he was our county's savior or anything. I can understand the GOP outrage about the IRS Vs the Tea Party. It isn't right to be singled out (if that is what all the evidence points to). But they had no outrage with everything Bush had done. You would think Democrats would be more against the drone policy of being able to take out American citizens. But they stand by their man (well, most anyway, there have been a few to break camp, but I would have thought there would have been more outrage)

Anyway, it just take my hope in humanity down a little more when I think about it. It seems more like business is charge of the country. I hate the fact that I am at another person's mercy and have no say in matters. I just wish someone would take a stand for me. Sigh... At least it's a nice day outside.
