I made it to the east coast!!!!

The flight was hell. Red eye flight with a guy who elbowed me getting his water bottle. That woke me up and I wasn't able to get back to sleep. So I was up all night. My legs are too long. They don't fit in the spot whereyour legs are supposed to go, so my knees were in pain all day today.

I got in and managed to catch my connecting flight, got into Providence, got my rental car, and in the end I got where I needed to be. I am now on cape cod. I took an hour nap and gonna hit the hay soon.

Count down to the east coast is on.

Aug 16th I will be landing in providence and then heading to Mass to spend my vacation in the greater New England Area. And I will be there until the 24th! That is the plan, if you are in the area and wanna do something let me know!

Well so I have been watching/listening Dr Horrible's Sing-a-long blog for the last 4+ hours and painting about an inch and half tall pewter figure.

Okay well today sucked. It was busy as hell at work. My other half had an allergic reaction to her antibiotics. So now she is not feeling good, just had her wisdom teeth pulled. I talked to her doctor and it does seem serious enough to worry about but I got her benedryl and she stopped taking them until we talk to the doctor tomorrow. So now I keep going and checking on her tonight to make sure she is okay.

Well I am still here! Maybe a bit distracted from being on here as often with my other half being back. But i went out last night for the 4th of July and had a bunch of fun blowing shit up and playing with sparklers. With m new camera I am becoming a whore when it comes to taking pictures of anything around me.

4 Days and counting....

Well today was hell at work. Every day is hell. Well at least chaos incarnate. But I survived it. But there a few note worthy event from today.

I am getting a new computer at work. The key phrase is computer in that sentance. Right now I have a "dumb" terminal that logs into the computer in the basement. I am getting a Wyse unit that will be a real computer and that will be able to emulate my current terminal. It would also allow me to say run an email client, web browser amongst other useful office applications such as word, excel. It will be nice to have a real tool at work. Until now my phone has been my computer. It's nice but still a poor excuse for a real computer.

I also got access to the ROOT Login for our Unix system. And if you have any idea what means you will realize how much that means to me.
