On the plus side, I've been making my own food!!! Ive missed having an oven!!! I've made my own bread and this week will try to make a cracked pepper bread/ we've been making our own ice cream! right now in the fridge i have peach vanilla, chocolate banana with banana chunks, and black cherry with dark chocolate pieces. NOM! Last but not least, I've made my own cheese! and its easy as hell! From a gallon of milk, and about 3-4 hrs (most of it waiting time), I can make just over a pound of fresh mozzarella and about a 1/2C of ricotta. fresh cheese is the best. i smear both on french rolls with some garlic and butter, and have the best garlic bread ever.
