Geeeeeez it's been a long time. I had kind of given up on SG. It had run its course for me, but someone keeps anonymously renewing my subscription; and now here I am. (I suspect it's actually SG just trying to get me back. Awww.)

So...last I wrote I was working on a book, running and running and running, and probably talking about an ice...

Errrrgh. I'm not ready. It's after 3 PM. My car is still in the shop. I haven't finished washing clothes. I haven't wrapped presents. I'm out of dog snacks and Juno doesn't want the stale ass rawhide I gave her. My recycling is totally overflowing and there is a bunch of crap in my fridge I need to toss before I fly out tomorrow. Life...

I WISH I did drag....hmmmmm

Pretty much although I was a drunk before the relationship, got it together during, am now lame and live in libraries and in my studio. Ok that's not true either. I'm quite a lot of fun actually, I like to go out now and again I'm just busy as hell now and am trying to be a "professional" meaning I only get wasted with artists who want to fight about theory or a show. I live for moments like that.

You know, that is actually why I think I'm having a great winter. My dad sent me some and I;ve been taking it religiously for over a month and half! Huh, thanks for pointing that out.

The past 18 hours have been flurrious. I think I made that up. Flurrious: full of flurries. I know what I mean. There's been a lot of activity. Let's leave it at that.

This morning I took the monks to see the PostSecret exhibit. I've never been made to feel more deliberately unwelcome since...gosh, maybe ever. The museum host was gracious enough, but she...

I would love to know what the note inside of the envelope said, I'm completely enthralled! I'll admit, I was a little sad that your blog ended there.

Thank you. Firstly, for finding me and saying hi. Secondly, for redirecting me. I did not mind at all because this entry literally made me laugh out loud and feel like I had just spent a day with a group of monks. Your message and this blog are things I would definetly catagorize as "things that make me feel bubbly and sunny".

Where are my manners... My name is Theresa. It's a pleasure to meet you, so to speak. I feel like you're somebody I'm always going to look forward to talking to on-a-count-of I bet you'll always have an exciting story (exciting to me, atleast).

Great, because you are a phenomenal story teller! I suppose you might be correct about the envelope, but what's a little secret between friends? wink

I'm convinced Murphy's Law will be in effect this morning. It's 27 degrees, sunless, and just cold. It'll probably be even colder around the lake. If I go, no one else is going to be there. If I don't go, I'm going to miss out on something good, because Murphy hates me. AND I officially have my first 'injury' of this training period. When it's...

That sounds like a beautifully hot moment, seriously she sounds mysterious and gorgeous. I have a thing for people with wit and inconsistencies.

I'm sure (or at least crossing my fingers) that there will be many more to come.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Michael Jackson made some good music. The cadence and they lyrics are striking chords with me right now. I feel a bit like a tool bumpin' the MJ in my car driving down the road, but fuck it. It's winter and my windows are up so no one can hear me singing "Man in the Mirror";...

I wasn't able to go. frown I had to run a zillion errands today and by the time I got back home I still had to shower and eat. You see where this is going. Sigh. There is next week at least.

I can imagine! I was disappointed at not being able to make it tonight, but bonus: Ran into a friend while on campus today and she told me that students get *free* Yoga classes. Free! At more convenient times!

It's almost 9 AM and it's still lingering around 30 degrees. It's not much colder than it was last year, but I think I'm losing body fat and that's making it difficult for me to keep warm at temps that used to be tolerable. Damn metabolism. I spent eight years living in the frigid ass northeast and dealt with sub-zero temps, but, for some reason,...

12:24 PM. Monday. First day back at work. It is quiet. Very quiet. I'm quite sure no one wants to be here. They are either openly engaging in conversation that has nothing to do with work or with their holiday, or they are hiding in their office avoiding engaging in conversation that has nothing to do with work or their holiday. I opted for the...

I be a writing fool lately. That is okay though. I am still on vacation and I am sure things will cool off once I get back to work next week. In the meantime, I keep writing. Because I can. So there.

My day started off well. Juners and me went roller-blading. She LOVES that and it always make me laugh to see her jump...

Food and retail therapy? Sounds amazing! Too bad the places didn't have what you were looking for.

Yeah no kidding. And my chicken came out a little bland too. I go easy on the spices and am finding that my technique needs a little fine tuning. Poo.

I cannot believe I am finally back home. It took me 11 days and over 2700 miles on the road, but I am back. I went from here to Central Texas, Central Texas to West Texas, West Texas to New Mexico and back, then back again, and home via Oklahoma. Double whew. Christmas was spent with my mom and step-dad which was fun. They are...
