I'm sure noone will read this but I need to post it somewhere to keep myself from going insane.
So Wednesday we had a snowstorm which was awesome.
Wednesday night started an ice storm which went until Friday morning.
Woke up Thursday to no power in my house, didn't get a shower, and went to work at 6.
Worked until 7:30 and the power at work went out, so we got sent home, were supposed to get paychecks but that didn't happen because no computers were up.
Came home and power was back on, thought "yay powers back time to get a nap and then take a shower", went to sleep, woke up at 11 to the power flickering and then dying completely.
So now 200k people without power over 3 counties, but thankfully all the areas around me got power back except the grid I'm in.
So yeah I feel like shit, I'm cold, tired, and pissed off, and I needed post it somewhere.
Btw this is what came down under one of the trees in my front yard while i was out for 30 minutes.
