Courtney is STILL an Ass"HOLE"!
Singer Courtney Love pleaded not guilty on Wednesday to charges of assault stemming from an April incident in which she is alleged to have thrown a whiskey bottle in the face of a woman asleep in the Los Angeles home of her ex-boyfriend.
Love, 40, made the plea at her arraignment on a charge of assault with a deadly weapon. She was ordered to stand trial after a preliminary hearing last month in which Kristin King testified that Love had pulled her hair, pinched her breast and thrown a bottle and a candle at her in the April attack at the home of Love's ex-boyfriend, Jim Barber.
Love's lawyer Howard Weitzman said last month that the singer had been "grossly overcharged."
Love, lead singer for the former band Hole and widow of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain, is free on bail pending trial. She pleaded guilty and was fined in New York last week for disorderly conduct for hitting a man on the head with a microphone at a New York City nightclub.
