Actually, that IS a pretty good reason. That stella girl drives me insane with her populist "big box office = quality" crap. It's like trying to have a conversation at the adult table and being interrupted by the kiddies over and over.

hey hon, happy birthday!!! i'm sorry i missed the actual day, i havn't been online!

i'd love to meet you too! we probably shouldn't wait til we are professionals in the entertainment industry, no telling how long that will take! tongue

and calling PC a snake is being far too polite. i think we should just simmer down and ignore everything the buffoon says, unless we are saving face for the organics industry itself. if we're lucky he'll sell up macro one of these days and won't be involved in anything we care about anymore!

thank-you for the epsom salts tip! we do have a bath and i will certainly try that smile

that organic directory lady has her head in the sand. an organics advocate calling macro positive is taking looking the other way a bit far confused

i see other brands mimicking the balance blunder too! marketing the product as 'natural' or 'healthy' when, if you simply read the ingredients, you see it is nothing of the sort! but they will always have a market of gullible people buying into that crap whatever

i absolutely agree with your last paragraph about pierce, and i love that we feel the same way! have you read 'the ethics of what we eat' by peter singer and jim mason? it is about all the ethics involved in food production, and while mostly researched in america there is lots of australian information. from an ethics point of view, the book generally promotes eating organic or going vegan, and there is a chapter on the wholefoods supermarket chain in the states and macro in aus - pierce is interviewed and quoted. i can't remember his words exactly, but he came off sounding like a businessman rather than a health or organics enthusiast. i'd send you my copy but a friend in brisbane is reading it now!

best wishes to you in everyhting you do, xox jen kiss

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
My friend at work has noted that while the shops still have Christmas stuff, the Easter eggs are already rolling out. So he wishes us a Merry New Easter. January is not meant to be busy in retail in Sydney, so I'm a free, but poor, agent.

I spent Christmas with the Fam, between Ulladulla and Batemans Bay. I refused to go...

Tuesday was our work staff party. Christmas, End-of-year, whatever.
They kept it a secret, just saying we had to turn up sober...
So this bus arrives, and 40 mins later we're out at Eastern Creek for Go-Karting.

I've never been Go-Karting before, so you could have told me all about it, and i would have just stared back blankly. However, now I understand.

My team...

I might be able to! *hint hint*
biggrin all mafia like, LOL

I loooove go-karting!
funny thing about go karting in cozumel is, that you have to first drive your car for like 20 min- which is very far in that island- to the place. isn't that silly? I will just go-kart with the cart and not pay biggrin

we need more pictures of you <3
yep. I've spoken.

It's easy to be popular on SG, all you have to do is find cool people, read all of there journals and leave them comments that lets them know you read the whole thing and let them know you care, the real would is the hard place to make friends.

I didn't rewrite the commandments, it has always been there, you just got to know where to look.

I don't even really like to look at him, even before I heard this I didn't think I would like him.

Betsy stayed home this weekend, while I went to Brisbane for the 5th Asia-Pacific Triennial. It was freaking awesome. As you can tell, I don't have appropriate words to describe exactly how fabulous it is. At the opening on Friday night, Talvin Singh played while we wandered around in the art sipping champagne, or doing wood carving rubbings in Stereotyped Thailand.
On Saturday night, Cornelius...

Hi.
Saw your post in SGAU. I couldn't wait to go - especially since it is the first exhibition to be held in the GoMA.

Well worth the trip. I'm yet to miss an APT and will be going back at least another 2 times before it packs up and moves on.

Just wanted to pop my head in and say hi - and that I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Betsy and I saw a car accident today.
We were rushing about on a pointless two hour journey.
I was listening to Hack on Triple J: a story about P plater car accidents.
(Provisional plates being the restriction for four years.
Or at least until the leather runs smooth on the passenger seat...)

Now when I describe a young P plater who was weaving in...

I'm still sick, but Betsy the car is fine. Show off.
Apparently the Australian Government has funded research into natural medicines.
To see if they work.
Then they'll say the homeopathic drops didn't work,
so they can make all alternative meds illegal because of misrepresentation.
I've been taking about 15 vitamin tablets a day, as I said i'm still sick.
But I probably would have...
