The Job Hunt, The Bike Rides, The Bruises
I have spent the last three days of my life in a seemingly endless hunt for a job that is better than my last one, which was in food service. Putting together portfolios, resumes, cover letters etc. etc. I am beginning to wish I could just ditch working and see how long I can afford to live...
On the upside, the job hunt also provides you with some entertainment:

EXTREME!

Ride me baby...
In other news, my midnight bike rides have come to an abrupt halt after crashing and bending my front bike rim about 5 days ago. I am no longer making the nightly trek through the Twin Cities, which I have to say had been one of my favorite activities this past month... The shit you see on a bike in North East at 3:30, or Snelling and University, or Rice and Pennsylvania... Priceless, especially when hyped up on Rick James and the Noisettes in the headphones. Somehow Nina Simone got into the mix though, so every couple of songs the tempo of my peddling slows way down as "Black is the Color of My True Love's Hair" plays.
But now I am a giant human bruise.
The exciting news, I scraped enough money together for a membership. Hooray.
Oh well, I guess the new bike rim will have to wait.

Side note... Super Mario World on the Super Nintendo is the definition of procrastination.
