When's the last time you've ever heard of a manager in the fucking NYTimes "Dining Section"? I need to evolve and move into the kitchen, the glorious threshold where one does not need to interact with the ridiculousness of people from the fucking Upper East Side, SoHo, trust-fund babies from the Lower East Side, B & T's from Jersey and Connecticut, and of course not getting paid on time! Three weeks now, running a restaurant in Manhattan and nothing. Not a dime. May I remind you not the first time this has happened. Over four years now. Creating a space, a staff, a wine list, working with the chef on a menu, countless issues, and yet here I am, yet again, with three weeks back pay.

If anyone reads this, sure you my be unemployed, depressed, miserable, lonely, but damn, you could be better off.

I sure wish I was.
