One of the worst feelings in the world is being up late at night, zoning out and beginning to think about crawling into bed with your significant other. You think about how they will feel all nice, warm and soft then you realize you broke up a few days ago and she isn't there and likely won't be ever again.

Just broke up with my girlfriend of about 5 years. It's too much pain for my little heart to bear alone so I"m glad I have my kitty, Beastie to assist in the grieving process. She's moving out right now.

So it's my birthday, I'm sick and my girlfriend is an unappreciative not so nice person but all in all it's nice to have lived this long I guess. Birthdays being the most important holidays are one thing the Church of Satan and I see eye to eye on I'll say that much.

See, that's totally cool. I'm sorry I jumped to conclusions. Like I said, I'm used to hearing people say "Oh, I read the Tao of Pooh, Taoism!" But for real, that stuff you were talking about was way interesting and useful.
You're one of the first people I've talked to who actually practices it to some extent. I'm fascintated. How else has it helped you? The way I learned about it was so abstract that it's hard for me to imagine actually living with it, so it's interesting to hear.
