I'm a very internally oriented and intellectually based person. I'm genuine, open and passionate about the few things I care about and value.

I'm a pretty good listener, in fact I often remember more of what people tell me that they do. A humorous (to me anyway) permutation of my combined listening skills and non-superficiality, is that I'm less likely to remember a female companion's eye color than an insignificant comment they made weeks ago.

I'm a passionate seeker of Truth. I believe that the True nature of reality is ineffable and transcendent. I also believe that words are incapable of completely transmitting our experiences, ideas, thoughts, etc but they are the best tools we have. Since the map is not the territory (words not what we are trying to express) and we are all merely people trying to make sense out of the same large and complex reality I tend to question nearly everything that is said to me. I do this so I can better understand what people are saying and also to see how well thought out people's ideas are. Unfortunately, most people perceive my dedicated truth-seeking as arrogance although it is rooted in deep humility.
