It's officially Christmas and despite my feelings towards the season. I won't allow my precious brother to be dismayed. I woke up about an hour ago to check and make sure that Santa brought all of his goodies inside from the storage building and come to find out, he didn't. My mom was awake so together, in the icy cold rain, we brought in all of his things to make sure that sweet little restless Jonah would get all of his stuff from Santa. So now, it is three thirty in the morning and my plan is to not go to sleep until after the Christmas morning fun and I think my mom is planning the same thing. It won't be long now before everyone is up and running around with a glow in their eyes and the joy of knowing that it is Christmas morning and there are presents to be opened. While i don't agree with the greedy aspect of Christmas, people making a big fuss because they didn't get enough or someone got more, myself being just as guilty as others...I enjoy greatly watching the excitement rush through a little boy's veins when he opens presents and gets tons of new toys. There is almost nothing better than seeing someone who does not yet know how to be greedy or selfish or ill with the thought and nature of Christmas, enjoy Christmas for all it is worth. I guess having a little brother has taught me many things these past few years and the most important being that sometimes, you just need to sit back and relax and enjoy the little things in life. A bundle of joy is exactly what my little brother has made Christmas!
