Over the weekend I got some complementary flying lessons over at the Texas Flight Academy thanks to my Brother. With my Father riding along and the Pilot Instructor Justin giving me great instructions.. I successfully took off, flew, and landed a Cirrus SR20. Good Times! The experience was great. As challenging as it was.. it was also easier than i thought it would be. This is something I hope I can do again in the Future.

Sci-Fi Expo 2011
Well I went to the Local Comic Con... this event's theme was "Women of Sci-Fi". The moments of note for me were a briefly meeting with Nick Gillard and Morena Bacarren for Autographs and the Trisha Helfer and Katie Sackhoff Q&A session. All the guests were very nice and were all very funny people. Other than that it was the usual comic con day full of Cosplayers and Comics. I took random shots of the Show Floor.. although I do regret not taking pics of any of the Cosplayers.

Underground has a tradition of being the biggest, loudest, freshest show ArtLoveMagic does every year at South Side On Lamar (1409 S. Lamar, Dallas, TX 75215). In 2011 you can expect no less than 50 live artists, dozens of art forms, and absolutely incredible live performance acts. The show will be for one night only, Saturday, February 12, from 8pm to 12am. A two week long exhibit containing works from artists performing in Underground will be on display following the event within the Janette Kennedy Gallery (2/13 - 2/26). Bathroom Etiquette with Adam Carolla
The wisdom of Adam Carolla is priceless. For those of you who also work in an "office space"... I think you will agree that the following rules the AceMan proclaims must be implemented and followed immediately. Just about all of the offenses committed in this bit I have witnessed first hand here at work... and boy do I wish we as a company could publicly shame the employees who don't have the common sense to be thoughtful when it comes to Bathroom etiquette. Bottom Line.. Some people need to learn how to clean up after themselves and be considerate of others.
