So I had a good day. It was completely fucked at work. So I ask my boss if I could get off early because I am suppose to meet a friend and talk photography. Her being the great person that she is, and might I mention one of the best photogs on the island she let me go. I get home and this little guy is waiting for me in my back yard. I think he has a little to much eye make-up on, but each his own



So I have known this guy for a couple of years, but he has different interest than me. We have a couple of things in common. One being his wife, which happens to be one of the best bartenders on the island. Tattoo's which he does out of his house, and of course photography. I am so chatting him up, showing him my gear. We are both pretty cool about the situation. I have seen a small amount of his work. He has a different style, and he tells me he does not edit his shit much. I am wondering, how the fuck you get there from here. He shoots on a totally different camera, with a totally different style of lens. He grabs my camera. He ask me a couple of questions about the camera operation, and fires off a couple of shots. It totally clicks, how this man achieves his images. It blew my mind. Yea the man has style, and he came as advertised. Anywho. We had a great meeting, exchanged ideas. Guess what? He going to draw up my next piece. I was like I will pay you for your time, and he says "don't bother I love to draw"

Another week up and running. What can you say, but thank god(s) for my days off. I am totally into my work, but it will wear on you. I service ill mannered contractors (some of them do not speak english) and old ladies that think they have class but have no idea what the hell they want. If it were not for my bar friends and SG, I would be bat shit fucking crazy. I am positive these days, trying to enjoy the small things. Getting by with a lot of help from my friends. Living a lifestyle I have become accustom to, but do not wish on anyone. For the most part I am happy!

My boss is a bird lover, as am I. He feeds the crows every morning at work. Let me tell you it is a free-for-all. Here is a pict.

So I have had a great week so far. Work is going well. I was off on tuesday and I got to see my favorite bartender. Yah I might have had a mean buzz on by 2:00 in the afternoon, but that is island life for ya. As for my general outlook, things could not be better. It has been a while since I can say life is good. I have been less bitter lately, and just except life for what it is. Just doing some real soul searching lately.

I know you are probably sick of picts of my pup, but that is all I could shoot this weekend. I went down to my brothers, and my festivities got rained out

So yah I went to Florida. It sucked! I am totally not getting into detail. I went down there for more than the weekend and it was a flop. I got this picture of fine aged tequila the first night I was there. I am not a tequila fan but yes give me a aged fine tequila. GAME ON.

well I have had a good weekend, and the start to the week. YAH.... I have a short week. I am headed to Florida on thursday. Going to see my brother, and yes it happens to be shimpfest. I will take lots of photos. I do have some stuffy occasions lined up, but in the end I am there to see my brother. I am going to make it a point to have a good time, it should not be that hard!

I know this woman has a problem with the gay community, but I love this song and think it is appropriate

So today is my day off. I totally slept in, thank you god(s)! I decided I was going to splurge and treat myself to some good beer. I drop a chunk of change on some beers. Here is the selection of the day.



The money I spent, I could have gotten completely wasted at the bar on cheep shit. OH well I will never learn how to spend money properly anyway.

So I had an interesting week. I took antibiotics for like a week, because I had some baby teeth removed. So my immune system was wiped out and I got sick again. It lasted about three days, and I missed half a day of work. I was completely miserable. Had a pretty good weekend, saw some friends that I have not seen in a while. Got my swerv on, Friday and Saturday. Today is recovery day, just kick'n it around the house being lazy.
