Well, I finally followed through. I've been thinking for some time now about completely rewriting my profile, the only thing preventing me from doing so was in deciding exactly what I would say. Today was the day; I just sat myself down in front of my profile, and did it. I was pleasantly surprised, because it did not take me nearly as long to complete as I had first thought.

Well, today, after much trial and error, I finally got a profile pic of myself to post in my profile.

Now I have a new problem. How do I get the image to expand in order to fill the space that is available for it? I tried deleting this pic and reposted it after reversing the pixel values for height and width that I first used, but the result was exactly the same.

Does anyone else on SG know how to expand profile pic's so that they will then fill the space that is available? If so, I would greatly appreciate it if someone would either tell me how to do this, or direct me to some other web location where I could read and then learn for myself?

I don't know what I did, or how it happened, but I went in to look at my profile in an effort to try to upload a main profile picture of myself, but all my attempts at this failed; and worse, my entire profile disappeared. Has this ever happened to anyone else on SG? If so, please tell me what I did that caused my profile to disappear, so I can make sure I never do it again, if in fact you know what caused this to happen. Now I have to rebuild my profile, I hope I remember everything that was in it before this happened.

I tried to upload three pictures of myself today, but this attempt failed. SG said the photos were not primary photos and were also the wrong size.
