Here's some thoughts on politics and current situations I'd like to share with you:
In these days, I think people have grown way too comfortable.
I am admitting myself, that I'm less concerned about the hurt and anger of the world-population then I used to be. Or have I just grown numb? Like most other people? That thought really threatens me, and as a person who read "DIE ZEIT" weekly, I should admit that I'm well-informed, well, sometimes I am not at all...and it bothers me, it bothers me that politicians pay less and less attention to the people they should be supporting, democracy either on its way up or down (unfortunately in developed countries such as the US on their way down!!!), however,I am hopefully watching and following the progress in Egypt; maybe this culture is on the rise again, as it once was- doubtfully it'll be though, how, in this case, religion will integrate with democracy??? Tell me one thing, and please DO correct me if I might be wrong: how can a country and a religion that supresses their people and in particular women, EVER become a democracy?
Do not think that my point of view has remained a right-wing one, because I am NOT AT ALL!!! I defy that regime to the utmost and where there is harm done I will renounce it!
But reading the history of such a highly developed country as egypt, fearing their gods, reaming the culture that deemed doom on everyone, how could they sink this far? And how, in all the names of their gods can they become one again? Sure, they have always been under the spell of dictator somehow, but hadn't the pharaoh brought some peace onto their minds? They knew how to build, read, they knew arts and their developments, different religions and they had a running water system throughout Cairo right before everyone else did.
That system collapse as have many in history and in my belief many will be at a point where high development shall remain a mystery, it does not matter how and where but in the end we shall all be doomed, unless we change our eating habits, watch out for water restrictions, water shortages, and, believe I am so NOT religious: watch our for our neighbours and friends, family and other fellow-women/man-kind, believe in our own strengths and weaknesses, watch out for political incorrectness and support those who suffer, starve and help those who remain silent or alone!
Small steps shall become big ones
And as humanity grows we shall overcome our differences
Be kind and subtle
Harsh and violent if needed
The right to live
And breathe
And eat
The same air as everyone else
NOT being dominated
By some utterly self-centered politician such
as Mubarak or even Berlusconi,
or pharmaceutical companies who seek nothing but your money.
I do not care who you are,
Who
You think you are.
But I DO believe in a better world,
A better humanity,
that people may take charge of their lives
And live in a better world,
That people see that giving means no taking,
That we'd be more kind to each other
No falsehood neither in their eyes nor in their faces,
No games to be played.
And all the basics of humanity applied:
LOVE
PS: I'll post this now because otherwise I won't have the guts and excuse all my grammatical incorrectness and errors...

Die Moslem-Brderschaft soll angeblich so um die 30% der Stimmen bei Wahlen bekommen. Das kennt man doch eigentlich auch aus der Schweiz.
