I love all of your comments on the zombie invasion, at least a couple of you mentioned Shaun of the Dead, that movie is a crack-up!
Work is making me want to jump out of the 6th floor window, so much projects, so understaffed, so much drama. I need to get outta' here! I guess I have to get my shit together and start studying for the GRE and take the damn test already to go to grad school. I just dread dealing with Sallie Mae again, I hate that bitch.
I am so ready to move though, I need change, I'm used to not staying in one place (literally and growth-wise) for too long.
I totally miss my pals and my mum too. I try not to think about it too much 'cos then I get sad, but for instance I just came back from a business trip in Santa Monica, and I just wanted to stay and never come back here! It's like oh no, I'm visiting my home, I'm a tourist now, just here on business??!! Oh, no this is so wrong. To hang out with one of my best pals and my mum and then have to leave, it's heart-wrenching, plus there aren't any raw vegan places in Okie-dokie! It's criminal I tell you! As a result however, I have become quite good at making raw vegan dishes like collard green hummus wraps and jicama/brazil nut & cashew nut "ravioli" with tomato relish and arugala.
I'm makin' my own mouth water---it's 12:20, time to fucking eat!
Oh yeah--I went to the zoo yesterday and spotted a little baby wild bunny in some brush, i walked right up to him and he didn't even mind, just looked up and munched his grass. He hopped around munching and then darted off. The poor little baby had a tick on his ear, I wanted to grab him and take him home. What a doll. I also saw a young rhino, baby gazelle, and baby geese.
Zoos are weird 'cos I love to see wild animals up close as much as the next guy, but at the same time I'm like "wow, I like you furry friend...and now I wish I could unlatch your cage and free you." There was jaguar that was obviously depressed and agitated he incessantly...
