So, I've been transitioning (actively) for a little over a year now. And as of June 23rd I've been on feminizing hormones for ten months. To sort of celebrate, I decided to take some fun pictures.
Edit:
Now, for the personal updates bit. Unfortunately, I don't go out too much. And when I do, I don't take a lot of pictures. I should probably look into rectifying this. I have a camera I bought specifically for this purpose. But I've been pretty social. Every Friday night I go out with my friends to play some tabletop game (this last month we ended a Dungeons and Dragons 4E/Essentials Campaign. And now we're playing a Dark Heresy game).
I also have a girlfriend I've been seeing! :D Overall, things have been great. I just need to get out more.
Sometime in July or August, I'm hopefully going to be having my first transgender-related surgery. An orchiectomy, to be specific. Basically, all it is, is removing my testicles while keeping my scrotum intact. A very cheap, easy surgery that, frankly I could perform myself, except that would be so fucking painful, and I'd probably get a horrible infection. Best to have a professional surgeon do it. Other surgeries are down the line. I'm looking forward to when I can have the full genital reconstruction surgery (penile inversion to make it look and function like a vagina). But that's at least another year down the line. The orchiectomy on its own would allow me to wear bikinis and sexy underwear without it showing. And it would make the cost of my hormones drop significantly (if I 'cut off' the means of testosterone production, I obviously don't need testosterone-blockers and don't need to pay for them). I'm also considering looking into a small amount of facial surgery. But I'm always bouncing back and forth on whether I'll need it or not. Passing, and being considered "attractive" are generally not an issue for me anymore. A lot of people ask me about breast surgery. But to be frank, my breasts are large enough at this point that I don't think I'll ever need breast surgery (seriously, I'm going to need 32C bras soon. I don't NEED bigger).
