This week I had the pleasure of traveling to ATL to see Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett touring in support of "Cheek to Cheek." My friend Jess and I rented a magical airbnb with 3000sq ft of creative space including a photo studio, aerial silks and complete with a suspending swinging bed.

While in ATL we did a lot of sightseeing, exploring and ate a...

A little late for this blog homework...

But almost a year ago, I got to meet Lady Gaga in Dallas after her show. She has been an inspiration to me for years and years, and I first got into her right around when I was coming out. She really helped me to embrace who I am through her music and message. I owe a lot...

Nice! You've got quite the list going. I had a few more I was contemplating adding but they're mainly friends in the tattoo community or people I've met at tattoo conventions and the like. @bohexican

The ones on my list I met through my job when I lived in Vegas...The last two were in a club....

I've spent a lot of my life traveling and making decisions on a whim or a feeling, but I think one of the craziest things I have ever done would be traveling to London to get my sleeve.

I had originally scheduled my sleeve with an American artist at Hell City, but they had double booked themselves leaving me without an appointment. So I almost...

That's great! It's awesome sometimes where being spontaneous will get you. Good luck on your apprenticeship!
aphrodite:
Yes, a lot of times I have to remind myself to let go and just live! I can't control everything so I may as well have some fun and make some crazy spontaneous decisions while I'm young! Thank you so much. @soraleia

Why does everything always have to happen at once?

I come back from vacation last week to no Store Manager, so I'm technically the acting SM, and am trying to run the store with ONE part time assistant manager who started the week I left on vacation, and a keyholder with constant visits from our District manager.

On top of constant stress from my job,...

Yes, totally agreed! Both health AND car insurance. It's like oh...you have really nice health benefits but if you get cancer then you're basically in debt for the rest of your life, have fun. Most of my UK friends think we are totally backwards over here. Actually, most developed countries probably think that about us.  That is SO crazy about your dad! I can't believe they're all like have fun replacing this on your own, and paying more every month for something you didn't even cause or do, what the fuck?  Hahaha I love your honesty about everything!  @colchicine
colchicine:
Hahaha thanks! Oh gawd yes, health insurance is horrible as well. I get to use another story of my dad for that one! lol. He was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago and they referred him to get the advanced robotic surgery, his insurance was refusing to pay and told him he has to shell out 30,000 because they said removing the cancer is not a required surgery, it's an optional surgery. Uh...... his doctor said it was extremely aggressive and he was lucky he came in for an unrelated appointment where they noticed something suspicious. They said if he would have waited for his next scheduled physical, it would have been too advanced.  Hmmm... don't get surgery and die within 2 years in your 50's or get it removed and have the chance of living for a couple more decades, how the fuck is that "optional"!?  No kidding, i love my country with a passion but id be delusional if i didn't admit we have some really fucked up issues thanks to capitalism. I don't understand the level of greed needed to not care whatsoever for other fellow human beings medical needs. I could go on and on about the medical field as well but ill shush for now before i type out an even bigger ranting manifesto, lol.

Hello lovelies!

My apologies for being absent as of late. I was on vacation the past week and a half and out of the country for a week of it.
My dad and stepfamily do a cruise every summer so this year we left out of Miami and went to St. Thomas, Tortolla, and the Bahamas. Had tons of things going on the entire trip...

Per request of @colchicine I have taken some photos of my garden. There's corn, onions, arugula, squash, tomatoes, fruits, herbs etc. I'm a vegan so gardening really cuts down on my grocery shopping.

As far as tangible things that I am scared of, I would say most bugs. I don't kill them, but I will scream and/or runaway if they get too close, especially if they are big and nasty( ie: beetles, june bugs, mayflies, huge spiders etc)

I'm not really scared of anything else like heights, roller coasters, the dark, etc

Otherwise I'd say getting old is...

I respect them and learned a lot about them thinking it would help my fear, it did a little but i still don't want them touching me! I wan't them in my garden but they are not welcome in my house haha, i let the harmless ones outside but have my bf kill the brown recluses and hobo spiders i find.
