I have had it up to here *holds hand over head* about being asked to work on the Grammys. I hate them. Every year they call me up and every year I tell them how much I hate that quality music is not recognized on the show that is designed to recognize quality music. "Oh, come on, it's not that bad this year," they always say. Yes. It is. Evanescence, Justin Timberlake and The White Stripes are each nominated for Album of the Year.

The Prosecution rests.

I think I am going to host an Anti-Grammy party next weekend, where we DON'T watch the show -- and instead listen to Interpol, Calla, Enon, etc., drink lots of wine and grill food.

My best friend Nick and his wife had a baby the other day. Their first and only. I've never heard him cry before. It was really personal. So, I called and told my family (who know him). My grandmother asked me what it is. I told her, "it's a human."

Ahhh...good times.
