I truely hate this time of year. It is 11 degrees outside, and is going to drop to zero tonight. In other words, it is fucking cold. I also get bronchitis about this time every year, which I have now. Everyone else in the house has had it, now it is my turn. I cut back on smoking while I am sick, in fact, I have not had one today, but as soon as I start feeling better, like an idiot, I smoke just as much as I did before.

Christmas sucked too!

Other than that, everything is fine. How are you all?

Why are we as americans so freaked out over sex? I just read an article that stated that the new film by Kevin Smith "Zach and Miri Make A Porno" had been banned by a theater chain in Utah, but the same theaters will be showing "Saw V". Why is it ok to see someone mutilated, but not ok to see nudity? Why was there such a big uproar about Janet Jackson showing a tit? Think about it, you cannot turn on the TV without seeing some sort of violence, and that is accepted as a normal television experience. Now, if you show a boob, people are going to loose their fucking minds.

Sex is the most natural thing in the world, and lets face it, what we were put on earth to do. Is it healthy to teach children to be shameful about themselves, their feelings and their urges? I don't think so. We are sure as hell teaching kids that violence is ok.

But why? What is it about sex that makes it so taboo? Someone clear this up for me.

I get to see my mother on the 10th, she is flying in to go to her brothers wedding. That will be cool, because she lives in Alabama, so I don't get to see her much. Im happy for my uncle, he finally gets to move into his house after the wedding. He is a preacher and "Can't live with his fiance untill they are wed", I saw the house a few months ago, it is very nice. I just think it is silly that he won't live in the house untill they are married, it just seeems outdated and kinda silly to me, but he is a preacher, so I guess he has to set an example.

Today was my nieces first birthday. We got her a little cake, and she decided that it would be more fun to wear it than eat it.

I don't know why, but this cracked me up.
I am spending my day watching the fourth season of House. I have to go back to work this Thursday, my vacation is almost over. It helps to tell myself that today I was paid to stay home.

My little brothers wedding reception party thing was today, They have been married for a few months now, this was just so her parents could put on a show. Everything went well, I didn't know hardly anybody, but it was nice. The place that was rented for the wedding is an old victorian mansion in Springfield called Elfindale. It was a beautifull place. It was strange seeing my brother in a suit, he is a jeans and t-shirt type of guy, as am I, But we looked good, if I do say so myself.
Before the wedding, my brother and I snuck off and explored the mansion, we looked at all the different rooms, each room had a different theme, it was cool.
My niece was in a little white dress, she looked so cute.
I dressed as if I were going to a funeral, all black with a red and black tie. I looked good.


Today definately went better than yesterday. I spent most of the day with a migraine, which sucked. Then Friday night we had to take my grandfather to the emergency room because when he went earlier in the day to his doctor to have his catheter changed, the doctor fucked up, and we had to take him to the emergency room to get it done right. He was screaming in pain. Needless to say, we are going to have a word with that doctor.
