makes me sad: child abuse, animal cruelty, long winters, bigotry, racism/sexism/transphobia among white gay males, gentrification, the overwhelmingly successful indoctrination of the American public, nationalism, severe bouts of disabling insomnia

body mods: I used to have my entire face pierced from the late 80's until the mid 90's when I was doing the rave thing.

gets me hot: when my S.O does the dishes or goes to the store to buy me a pack of smokes (that's what happens after 8 years of "marriage")

makes me happy: chihuahuas, my partner of 8 years, ginger ale, courageous trans folks, autumn, a new book, San Francisco, anarchist punks, not having insomnia, Portland, OR, punk rock genderqueer teens who are well-read, My Bloody Valentine's album Loveless, the music scene in Athens, GA (where I went to college), going to shows to see my favorite bands and only 10 people are there, lesbians with acoustic guitars
