Trabajo en la universidad. Ya me he graduado con dos especialidades, la de espanol y la de especialidades internacionales. Le extrano el Mexico. Me dicen que todo Mexico esta peiligroso, pero no se. No puedo imaginar que Guadalajara esta tan peligroso que Ciudad Juarez, no? Espero que no.

Ye wo ai Taiwan. Yao qu Kaohsuing! Ni ne? Ni yao qu zai na li?

I'm keeping pretty busy. Hopefully I finish the Peace Corps application soon, y'all!

So, my girlfriend breaks up with me, I catch bronchitis and athlete's foot and my grandma dies. At least I'm failing Chinese. Anybody got a spare gun they're not using?

Ya me quedo en Taiwan. Ya me llamo Long Qiau Xu. Se pronucia como Long Shiau Shu. Long significa dragon o serpiente y es el apellido. Los chinos ponen los apellidos en frente y no se usa los apellidos de las madres. Shiau Shu sona como el nombre ingles (pues, un poco). Le extrano el nombre espanol: Javier. Que hacen uds?

Las clases me van a matar! De quien es la idea para tener tarea? Mas PUTO! I'm simply rotten with obligations. Mid-terms, classes, papers, model UN, Turkish, tutoring, Spanish honor's society and the band. Good thing I've a gal to make it all okay. Has visitado los Zapatistas en Chiapas? Escribo un reporte sobre los y su mensaje. Dame informacion, cabezones!

Just got the frame for the pegboard made, tomorrow it'll all be hung. Then make a few shelves and the garage is done! Next is the backyard cleanup. Leaves raked up and an overhang built of the house to shelter the grill. If somebody would pay me boatloads of cash just to do little projects, I'd be several kinds of happy! A veces, la vida es lo mejor!

And so I've got to go back to the States on the sixth now. Esa gripe es una chingada! But I've had a wonderful time in Mexico. I hope to live there one day. Folks here welcome you into their family and would give you the shirt off their back. Anyway. I'm pretty much gonna miss it here.
