Well holy fucking shit.. i got a plan.
Ok.... so I've been planning out my life.. lately... and I GOT A PLAN!
ha.
so.. here is a summerized version... kinda.. I tend to ramble so ya know....
1. Start an online class - Vet Assistant... it's a six week course.. $75 bucks... then you can take a secondary class... specifically about breeding dogs.. which I'm definately taking... also $75 bucks... so that will help me get a job at a vet clinic... THEN...
2. At the end of the assistant classes... apply for a Vet Tech program.. I've found a couple that are about 16 months... (Btw.. difference between vet assistant and tech... assistants talk to people about pet nutrition, vaccinations, worms, fleas, first aid, euthanasia, and alternative medicine. Also help the vet hold animals still while giving shots.. yadda.. then techs help with surgury, do lab work, basically do a lot of the not so hard jobs...)
3. Then... after this is all said and done... time to apply at WSU and take their vet program.. which is a whopping 7 years at least... and it's also about 40k a year... so that will be fun. but i'm thinking the two things I want to do before this will help me get in a lot easier.. and make me more prepared for it.. so eventually I can be a certified vet. So ya'll will be calling me Dr. Rachelle. lmfao i figured if all goes as planned I should be a doctor of vet med by the time i'm about 30.. which means I'll be just a couple years into vet school by the time i have kids... so that will be interesting.
4. Then I open up my own clinic and as soon as I save enough money I'll start investing in my breeding program..... I'm going to be breeding rotties, pitbulls, and either dobermans or malamutes.. maybe both.. and Norwegian Forest Cats.. possibly Turkish Angoras as well... then after I get that going small time... i'm going to reduce my vet clinic duties to just like an "express vet"... ya know.. shots.. check ups... checking ears.. doing flea treatments... minor...
