Okay this is going to make me sound like a real fruit , but I had the wierdest epiphone the other day . I was helping out in the backyard with the construction of my new kitchen wall , and there was a 4x4 piece of wood that is in the corner , and it had some sap cpming out of it , from like a cut .

So I walk over to it , and swipe the sap and look at it , and walk back over to what ever I was doing and forgot about it .

Well 5 minutes later i am looking at the sap , and it has bled about 3 more inches down the post . It occoured to me that the piece of wood was "bleeding" . It was a very new piece of wood , and was still bleeding . That piece of wood had been a tree probably no less than a few days ago . hanging out in the woods , birds chilling in its branches . . . now it is dead and hacked up and part of my kitchen . I mean i am a fan of cooking , and building things and stuff but I got all wierded out for a few minutes .

So I was pretty confuzed and a little flustered . I started getting sad thinking how it must have sucked to get cut down and taken appart . . . I was really bummed for a little bit . Am I wierd , was it wrong to impart human feelings and almost emotions , into a tree . . .they are alive after all . They have been proven to react to " pain" and different stimulai . . . now it is there bleeding all over the driveway , WTF ! ! !

Anyone else relate , even a little bit , or am i just an emotional retard ?
