Well hello SG land,
Been a bit since I last wrote so I guess I'm a bit overdue on a blog entry.
Hell City was fun. I spent the night Friday at my sister's house. It was good to spend time with her and Brad and my friend Shane went up with me to the convention. So then Saturday, Shane and I went to the convention and spent a good amount of time there. But it was weird, I felt really cramped and began to get some anxiety about the crowd and it really shook me a lot. So I actually had to end up leaving because of it. I have had that before but it has been a long time and I'm not sure why it happened but it did. But I hope to go back up at the end of the month for the end of May party. Here is the info for those who don't know about it
Well, unemployment sucks a lot. There's not much I can do about it though. I want to go to school again and try to become a teacher. If I get a job, that opportunity goes away, so for now I have to deal with it. I've been looking into a bunch of different schools but I think I'm going to end up going to Xavier. They have a great campus and it's beautiful and I can get done in about a year and a half with a license to teach and a Master's degree. I'm nervous because I have to take the MAT or the GRE to get in and it's been quite awhile since I've been in school. So I hope I am able to recall what I've learned and take it from there.
I've got to spend some time lately with my sisters and my niece/nephew since I've been off. It's been really great to do that, I feel like I've not got to spend much time with them and that makes me a bit sad. I also got to see some old friends when I went up to Anderson, IN for a couple days so I was very grateful for that. It was a small breath of fresh air to get away from Cincy and everything else. I'll have a busy weekend ahead of me also. I'm heading to Annapolis, MD...
