So yeah, just got back from the first concert I've intentionally gone to in roughly 10 years.
Not as good as I'd hoped, but still a nice escape from the day to day bullshit. The sound system sucked massive amounts of ass, and not in the good way, but sometimes incredibly, deafeningly loud is more important than subtle nuances like "hearing the vocalist".
Now taking bets as to how many days my ears will continue to ring.
Edit: Since I am now fractionally less lazy at 9:46 AM the following morning, the above-mentioned show included the following musical combos:
