I want to burn the school of education to the ground.

Is it too much to ask that:

- they be at least a little organized? I'm the least organized person I know, and I am more organized than they are.

- we learn how to teach art in the arts methods class? And not how to write lesson plans. I know how to write lesson plans.

- we receive some kind of respect to our intelligence and have a literacy teacher who is not ILLITERATE?

- the advisors actually give good advice? And, maybe, not say "who told you that? Me? Well, I was wrong... you're fucked."

- they spend their money and energy on teaching us how to be teachers, and not on making themselves look good so that they can get more people to apply?

I'm so done with this shit. I want to graduate... more than almost anything... the only thing I like about school right now is the four hours a week I spend with my fourth graders. My partner and I got a Valentine from one of our girls, yesterday. Highlight of my week.

I hope today doesn't suck. I should take a shower... so I'm not late.
