age: 32 (May 07, 1981)
MEMBER SINCE: January 2012
occupation: If you can believe it, they actually pay me to influence the minds of the younger generation.
crush: A fiery-haired vixen.
body mods: Several tattoos and counting.
stats: I almost failed this in college.
into: Anything geek. I love video games, board games, books, and anything to do with science (I AM a biologist).
makes me happy: The smell of an old book. The feel of a controller in my hand. The sound of dice on the table. The warmth of the sun on my face. The smell of the air after it rains.
So my friend and I went to go see a live recording of Rifftrax: Birdemic last night. Now, if you haven't heard of Rifftrax, it's the same guys who used to do MST3K (Mystery Science Theater 3000...which is a guy who is banished to a space station to watch really bad movies with some crazy robots and they sit there and make fun of the movies and it's super funny and hilarious but a little cheesy at the same time...I think I might be rambling...so back to what I was originally saying), but they make fun of more modern movies. Now, if you haven't heard of Birdemic, that I can understand. It's an AMAZINGLY bad movie...but it's so bad that it's funny.
Birdemic: Shock and Terror

is suppose to play homage to Hitchcock's classic, The Birds

But that's like saying THIS

pays homage to the original

But I would highly recommend you watch it if you want a good laugh. It has everything a great bad movie needs: awful acting, terrible sound, bad camera work, poor editing, and horrendous special effects. Here are just a few highlights of the actions scenes.
