I really don't think anyone is going to be reading this, but here it goes! I haven't been on here too much, and I signed up for a membership almost a year ago (time fucking flies!). I barely post on the boards, I barely reply to your messages, and I really havent put much thought into a photoset. So I figure it is now time to pay my dues. Maybe write something inspiring, or midly interesting. Here is my sad attempt:

These past couple of weeks have been really eye opening for me. A few fights here, a few fights there, and bam! I was homeless and literally living out of my car. It was officially my rock bottom. I stayed positive throughout it because deep down I felt as if my friends would come rushing to my side, helping me out of this mess and lend me a hand. Boy, was I wrong. Instead of offering what they could, most of my 'friends' ignored my phone calls and text messages. At first I figured, hey, maybe its a fluke. Maybe my cell phone had stopped working (damn you AT&T).. But after some time and many uncomfortable nights later, I came to the realization that my friends were not going to be showing up anytime soon. For so long I had been relying on other people to help me, instead of helping myself. So I pulled my head out of my ass, got a job, and am now a step closer to getting back up on my feet. That experience alone has proven to me that you can't count on anybody but yourself. People have told me this time and time again, but I always took comfort in having other people around. People have always counted on me, and therefore I believed it was okay to count on them. Wrong!.....wrong wrong wrong.

Now, personally, I love helping people out. If I am able to put a smile on your face or make you laugh, I get fullfillment out of it. I suppose most people have other hobbies and better things to do, though. So this is me telling you, from experience: When you are down, DONT expect people to pick you up! I may be wrong though. Maybe you do, in fact, have friends and family that are willing to grab you by your collar and drag you out of that rut. But hey, better safe than sorry, right?
