flash
the shutter clicks
the film advances
a moment in time
has been captured
forever
looking up from my camera
i realize
i almost got
knocked over by a goose
but who cares
if i have goose shit
on my shoes
on my knees
i just took
one of the greatest pictures
i\'ve ever taken
beads of water
gathered on goose feathers
faded water fowl
in the background
wings spread, flapping
bill slightly open
squaking that incessant laugh
waiting for more bread
