Thursday I had to go back to our company headquarters for a meeting. I was supposed to fly home that evening. Things took longer than they should have so I had to stay Friday also. They promised me I would be home by Friday night. I told them I had a friend who was going to be in town this weekend so I needed to be home.
Of course I didn't get to go home Friday. To make up for it they put me up in the "corporate apartment". This place was like a 5 star hotel !
I spent almost 12 hours watching Live Earth on the huge tv and dancing like a fool in the living room while I worked. Which brings me to.......
Things I learned While Watching Live Earth:
Missy Higgins is a cutie and has an amazing voice.
KT Tunstall was wearing a rainbow bead necklace. I wonder if that is significant?
Australian girls are hot.
I want to have Lenny Kravit's baby.
Brazilian girls are hot.
Madonna is getting a little to old for the "sexy girl" dance numbers.
Big Bottom by Spinal Tap makes me laugh so hard I snort.
English girls are hot.
Kanye West can actually perform without being an ass.
Metallica still looks like a rock band and not someone's dad playing "rock singer"
American girls are hot.
Enough with Al Gore already........

I got rid of the satellite dish in October, so I'm totally out of touch with most things. Needless to say, I missed Live Earth and am not too clear on what it is (I'm presuming rock concert to raise awareness about global warming?)
