Good morning! I hope you enjoyed my Wednesday' blog! In case you missed it click on the link and check out the spoilers. There's some Wet Wednesday photos in there.
In case you are not following me on instagram you should get on that. missmyzaree
I'm having some morning rage today and after this epic rant about my in laws I'm taking my hello kitty pj's and my new SG hoodie on a long exhausting run. Hopefully that will burn off some of this internal fuel.
So here's where I am, my husband brought home Watts the kitten a few weeks ago.
And my in laws want to have her front paws declawed. I don't really see a problem with that, I know some people think it's inhumane but nearly all of my cats have been declawed and they are all well adjusted felines. I have had six cats at one time when I lived in Milwaukee and they all lived together in harmony. Half of them had been declawed at kitten age and the other's were rescued had there paws all intact and they all got along fine. I never worried about my cats fighting. Most of them cuddled and loved one another and if they didn't get along they more or less ignored one another. Life was good. Well eventually I found homes for Hazel, and Casanova and moved back home with my original brood of cats. Most of you know I moved to California and moved two of my cats with me Bob, and Khi Khi the others stayed with Grandma in Wisconsin.
My in laws have a cat named Chance who is not a nice cat. She is pretty mean all considered. She will bite you, hiss at you, growl at you, and scratch you whenever she feels you deserve it. She has broken her claws off in my cat Bob's face. He is so in love with her he doesn't really mind.
So my in laws decided that since we are having the kitten's front claws removed, it's time to have Chance's removed as well. Chance is five years old. She's a bitch. Some animals are just like that. If you aren't new to my blog you know my in laws do not listen to a word I say, so I told them to feel free to do whatever they think is best. ( Realistically they want her declawed because they are tired of her attacking them) But they are passing it off as they don't want my cats to get injured. My cat's have already lived in the same home for a year now. A little late don't you think for that reasoning?
Anywho, ever since they decided to have Chance declawed (at my mother in laws insistent demand to have this done mind you) they have all - my husband included but hmmmming and hawing over how poor Chance must feel and it's sooo terrible that this happened to her.
Hello fuckheads you people made this fucking decision.
Worst offender is my mother in law. All she keeps doing is talking to this fucking cat, "poor baby" "poor sweet little girl".
Sounds dumb but it's driving me up the wall.
All she's doing is talking about how the poor cat can't do this and the poor cat can't do that. AND HOW MY CATS are going to attack her. My cat's have never been mean to this animal. So my mother in law sat up with Chance all night. She keeps trying to talk to me about Chance's mood and her reluctance to walk on her wrapped up paws.
While I was making breakfast for my husband my cats were waiting for there morning treat - ham and their cat had more than enough strength to walk over bully my cats and than jump up on the kitchen table to growl at them from above.
My mother in law comes out of the bathroom and acts like it's a miracle that Chance could get up onto the table.
*Face palm.*
Since it's Throw Back Thursday I thought I would leave you all with this picture! Enjoy!
xoxo
