Well the Dichotomy of today is strange indeed. I've been looking at changing careers from a Silicon Valley, techy job to a LA entertainment job for a while.

Today is the beginning.

I was called this morning by my boss and could tell from his tone it was not a good call. After 12 years of working for a company i have been "downsized due to budget restraints". A polite way of saying I was now laid off. thanks company of 12 years.

a couple hours later I received a phone call from a casting agent in LA that wants me to come down to LA next week for an audition. hmmmm. strange timing or perfect timing? Perfect I say.

I feel like a SWEET new beginning has started! jump aboard everyone!
