Christmas is coming!!!!!
I think I'm finally done all of my Christmas shopping...well...pretty damn close anyway, and I've actually managed to avoid doing all of it at the very last minute.
I still have to finish making some of my presents for friends and my Dad and my sister...but all of my Christmas elf duties are well on the way.
It's been weird at work this week becuase all of the people who are home from school and who I haven't seen in a year or more keep popping in unexpectedly...but it's been good to see most people (some I wouldn't mind avoiding).
I'm really excited to go up to the wee island with Kelvie, where we can sit by the fire and admire jstone's HUGE-ass Christmas tree. (seriously it's enormous) and make Timberframe gingerbread houses. Oh hell yes.
a few days off will be nice too...

Bah....have to update but I just don't have time to do it properly....
probably due to me being sick from trying to do too much stuff.
Had a blast in Victoria last weekend catching up with old friends, but got sick from burning out (due to filling my life with too much TO POSSIBLY DO)
but I was rescued and taken up the coast to be coaxed (sp?) back to health by jstone
now I'm doing an interesing wilderness first aid course (but missing out on work and trip money) *moop
AND it meant that I had to miss my belt test for martial arts tonight
oh well
I think my sensei will hopefully let me reshedule under the circumstances (I was registered for the course months ago and can't get out of it)
and hopfully I'll feel 100% again soon

-just one of those days where nothing really goes drastically wrong, but none of the little things go right either-
although I had fun talking to jstone...
I love the colour of my eyes.... but if I switched them I would want really bright emerald eyes...or purple eyes... that would be neat
I've always thought it would be fun to get some of those "tints" contacts, just for the heck of it; to make my kind of green-grey-bluish eyes reeeeally emeraldy and darker
just might try that someday.
