This entry has been brought to you by point form and the letter Gee, whiz!

- back in Argentinian tango classes- this time, finally, with a partner, an extremely cute Chinese girl with excellent taste in film

- had an amazing Syrian dinner with my ex-gf followed by a mediocre vernissage (no free booze?!?) but still had an amazing time because we always have an awesome time together

- picked up a new tennis racket so I can kill on the courts, despite the fact I haven't played tennis in forever

- upcoming concerts include M.I.A., Raconteurs, Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave

- finally have some confirmed plans to go whitewater rafting in some class 5 rapids next month

- trading poker lessons from a former pro with homecooked meals

- paid off a student loan (note this reads "a" and not "all")

- went to several barbecues and talked disco and debauchery

- need to pick up a new bicycle

- mild obsessions with goal-setting, financial management, personal fitness

- discovered an excellent Your Money or Your Life personal hack worthy of 43 folders

- selling my Wii to purchase a mind machine

How about you?

I'm working all week-end, including Sunday. Monday, however, I am completely free... anytime.

-planting, planting, weeding, planting

-bird watching, wildcrafting, making tinctures, fishing

-riding out bad storms, with tornadoes near by

-reading eduardo galeano books during parts of said storm, in a screened in porch in a hammock

-the only instrument i have here is a pennywhistle, so i've taught myself to play the harmonic sequence up to 6 notes on each note. so the thing only has 8 holes/notes, but i can play almost 48 on it. uh yeah. woo. i need to bring my accordion here.

-working with one of my favorite authors on possibly illustrating a children's book he wrote (note: it's his first children's book)

-caught a mouse in the house (no mouse traps or anything, i just caught it) and put him outside

-eating a ton of asparagus

I do not understand

"discovered and excellent Your money or your Life personal hack worthy of 43 folders"

-enjoying my new camera, but brooding over how much i'm willing to spend on which lenses for it.

-played a few songs at open mic night after a bit of a hiatus

-being ambivalent about my job, with respect to how long i think i'd like to stay there

I could use a new bicycle as well i suppose. would also be nice to pay off student loans.
