Ok, so here is that update as promised.

First off, I want to thank everyone I saw at the ECCT. I had a much needed great time with all of you. There's nothing like a few days out in the woods drunk of your ass with good people to cleanse the soul. I hope to see you all next year. Jasper had the time of his life out there, even though he was barking at every new person that approached him. Don't take it personally. He takes his guard duties very seriously. This years trip was truly magical and it was thanks to the fantastic people that came. Also, I would like to pay a special thanks to Adelayde, JustBlaze and, Zoomusikgrl for paying to get my broke-ass down there. I owe all of those memories to you guys. And of course, this years trip wouldn't have happened if there wasn't such an amazing staff. So thanks times one billiondy to them.

After the trip I've been working pretty much non-stop but I can't complain because it's by choice. The summer is winding and school will be back in session. I am so excited too because this year will take a huge chunk of schooling out along the road to becoming a pharmacist. I never thought I would be excited to start studying my ass off again but I just can't help it. The only down side is that I have to pay all my tuition expenses out-of-pocket. Fuck you fafsa and your EFC and your 01/01/85 dependent cut off. I moved out of my parents house when I was 19 and I would still be on my own if you gave a fuck about that! But meh, what is one to do? Roll with the punches I suppose.

I just started the last book of the Dark Tower series. It's hard to put down. I have about 23 tattoo ideas that have stemmed from Stephen King's greatest story ever. But I can't get any of them until I'm done reading. Just wouldn't be right.

The key to getting along with anyone is to really and truly seeing things from their perspective. Just remove yourself completely from your thought process and indulge in someone else's. Think about how it must feel to be them. Walking, talking, breathing. Just imagine and fill the unknown with your best educated guess. It doesn't take long, and only has to last for a minute if you wish but it helps ground reality. It shows you that each and every person you encounter goes through some of the same doubts, fears, joys, and sorrows. I do this on a daily basis. Most of the time with people I enjoy spending time with because it helps me relate. But I try even harder with people that piss me off. I want to know why they act like shit-heads. Why they feel that common courtesy is dead and only they exist. Once I think I understand, it becomes almost a joy to blow them off. Fucking weird! But of course with some assholes, I just don't waste my time. Fuck em'!

There are some killer events coming up and I hope to see a lot of you there.

ECCT was a ton of fun and im glad you were able to go and join in on the fun.

the way the FAFSA and financial aid and all that works really shafts those who arent getting money from their parents - and it really sucks to be in the situation you're currently in with it

why, thank you! i try to keep my taste varied in types of music, but i feel i lack depth in eras of music. most of my favorite music comes from the 90s, i don't like much before that, and i'm very picky about anything that's been released in the last decade...

dark tower is fantastic! i think anyone that's willing to put the time into it should read it, whether they are a stephen king fan or not, it's just brilliant! have you seen the graphic novel? don't rush out and buy it if not, it's decent, but covers most of the back-story from book 3 or 4 (i forget, it's about time i re-read them) but definitely worth stopping by a bookstore to read or borrow from a buddy...

good luck with the work and figuring out the school funds man, hopefully i'll see you at some of these killer events

Jasper was a great guard dog - I was greatly amused by his barking antics and he's more than welcome to help guard my campsite whenever he wants.

haha mahhhk wouldnt walk past Jasper, he was ready to shit his pants. sorry to hear about having to pay out of pocket, but itll be worth it in the long run i think. again is was great meeting you, hope that it isnt another year till we meet again. and i agree very much so on how to get along with people. i do that same thing at work all the time.
