"There is a simple foundation to the way I live my life: I believe that at the source of everything, there is a single all-encompassing and unfathomable consciousness. Unlike most of the predominant theories on deity, it does not stand apart from us as our creator and commander, but we are a part of it as is everything (not a new theory). In the great cosmic body, the thing we understand as life (all life, but especially our highly developed cognition) plays the roles of sensory organs. As a result, our most important purpose in this metaphorically less-than-a-blink long existence we call life is to absorb process and transmit to the best of our ability every experience that we encounter.
My greatest desire is to experience happiness and pleasure. I want this both for myself and for those around me. But no experience is to be discounted- I have experienced much physical and emotional suffering in my life, as well, and I am thankful for every moment. Each moment I exist, I am fulfilling my purpose.
Speaking of moments, I believe in the sanctity of the moment at hand. Here and now is what’s important. Disclaimer: I am human, and I spend my fair share of time longing for moments in the past and fretting about the future. But for the most part, the past only serves to establish useful patterns of connection, and future plans only serve to insure that I continue to experience to the best of my ability. I cannot touch either past or future directly. They cannot be my primary concern.
How does that translate in my day-to-day life?
I absorb a bit of everything and everyone I encounter. I dedicated a large chunk of my life to dancing in stage performances. I learned ballet, modern (mostly Graham and Horton), tap, jazz, hip-hop, some African, some belly dance, some swing, some salsa and some Capoeira. At various points of time in my life, I have also been a singer (I am equally comfortable...

At various points of time in my life, I have also been a singer (I am equally comfortable singing Bell Biv Devoe, Prince, Johnny Cash, Tool, Nine Inch Nails, David Allan Coe, Fiona Apple, Death Cab for Cutie, tunes from many musicals, Hank Williams Jr, Leonard Cohen, Nirvana and INXS, as well as a couple of my own creations, just to name a few), a visual artist, an actor, a writer (horror fiction), a fire-spinner (staff, not poi), a kung-fu practitioner and a pole dancer. Many of these things I still dabble in, today.
I’m honest and open to a fault. I never hesitate to tell someone when I find him/her attractive, because in the face of the self-image negativity our society perpetuates, everyone needs to hear it. I will always answer questions about my past and decisions I’ve made to the best of my ability, because the person asking me may learn some tidbit of wisdom from my experiences. However I also believe that mystery is one of the key elements to attraction, and as such, there are things that I probably will not pro-offer until I am asked directly about them.
That being said, I could spend another few paragraphs rattling off more about myself, or I could invite you to message me to learn more about me through direct correspondence or meeting me in person. The latter two choices sound like a much more enticing proposition to me."
